The mission of the Association is to enhance student financial aid awareness, to promote student access to postsecondary education and to provide professional development opportunities for its members. |

Membership Terms |

- Membership runs from January 1 until December 31
- MSFAA annual dues are $50.00
- A person who accepts a position previously held by a MSFAA member does not automatically become a member
- Individuals join MSFAA not their school, company, or agency. If a member changes employment the membership transfers with the individual
- members are responsible for ensuring the accurate entry of their name, title and institutions information

Membership Groups |

- Membership is reserved for professionals at institutions of post-secondary education who are engaged in the active administration of student financial aid and support staff who are actively involved in financial aid at institutions at post-secondary education in Michigan.
- Associate membership is reserved for any person with an interest in student financial aid; including lenders, guaranty agency staff, loan servicers, secondary markets and other individuals who are not actively involved in the administration of student financial aid in Michigan.
- Financial Aid administrators who have retired are given a complimentary membership should they desire to stay connected to the association and their colleagues through MSFAA.
