| Purpose |

The Membership Services Committee is charged with conducting an annual membership drive for renewals and new members. The Committee shall also accept other responsibilities as determined by the Board of Directors. |

| Duties |
| |
|
|
| |
1. Revise renewal applications and new member applications and brochure on an annual basis.
2. Generate annual mailings of membership renewals and distribute new member applications and brochures.
3. Collect MSFAA Summer & Winter conferences registrations and payments and verify membership status.
4. Identify new members and deliver membership pins.
5. Follow up on conference registrations where membership is not yet paid, and on incomplete membership records generated through mailings and conference payment.
6. Generate and publish annual membership directory on the web.
7. Identify retiring members for official recognition and provide list to the chair of Nominations, Elections and Awards Committee.
8. Provide member address labels to MSFAA members as requested, and generate address labels by sector of paid members to the chair of Nominations, Elections and Awards Committee for annual elections.
9. Coordinate any special membership projects and/or promotions as approved by the Board of Directors.
10. Provide merchandise for sale at conferences.
11. Develop marketing strategies to recruit new members.

The President will appoint a Chair (or Co-Chairs) for the Committee from the MSFAA membership. The Chair(s) will be responsible for selecting additional members, if needed, from MSFAA member institutions. |
