The Web Services Committee maintains the association website, www.msfaa.org. The website’s primary function is to provide membership information and resources, but also to be a source of information for college bound students, parents and the high school counselors that work in college planning. |

| Duties |

|
|
| |
The Web Services Committee shall:
1. Manage the MSFAA website including the responsibility for layout/design of the web pages, as well as news/information posted to the MSFAA website. This involves working with a paid, professional webmaster who presently handles major design changes and the more complex features of the website. Minor updates and deletions to the website are handled by committee members.
2. Coordinate membership directory information with the Membership Committee, maintaining an electronic version of the directory, which is housed on the website.
3. Assist membership by providing electronic registration for conferences and professional development workshops via the website.
4. Provide an annual electronic balloting process for elected officers of MSFAA via the website.
5. Members generally meet monthly in person or email to manage new information and updates of information and updates of information on the website. Members are assigned specific area of responsibility for the website.
6. Receive website invoices and verify appropriate billing of expenses for website activity on a monthly basis.
7. Solicit web advertising agreements with corporate supporters, including sending the invoices and collecting payments.
8. Coordinate the maintaining of MSFAA archives housed on the website. |

Typically, the committee meets monthly. Most of the meetings will be handled via conference call. |

The President will appoint a Chair (or Co-Chairs) for the Committee from the MSFAA membership. The Chair(s) will be responsible for selecting additional members, if needed, from MSFAA member institutions.
